With a passion for photography that started when he was 15, Michal Macků studied in Brno and Prague before working at the Sigma Olomouc Research Centre and teaching at the Pedagogical Faculty of Palacky University, Olomouc. Since 1992, he has worked as a freelance artist, exhibiting in the US and throughout Europe. In 1989, he created his own photographic technique, ‘Gellage’ — the ligature of collage and gelatine. The technique consists of transferring the exposed and fixed photographic emulsion from its original base on paper. This transparent and plastic gelatine substance makes it possible to reshape and reform the original images. Created on photographic quality paper, each Gellage is a highly durable print eminently suited for collecting and exhibiting. Michal explains, "I use the nude human body (mostly my own) in my pictures. Through the photographic process [of Gellage], this concrete human body is compelled to meet with abstract surroundings and distortions. This connection is most exciting for me and helps me to find new levels of humanness in the resulting work." http://www.michal-macku.eu/

PIERRE MOLINIER
Pierre Molinier (April 13, 1900 – March 3, 1976) was a painter, photographer and "maker of objects". He was born in Agen (France) and lived his life in Bordeaux (France). He began his career by painting landscapes, but his work turned towards a fetishistic eroticism early on. Molinier started his erotic production around 1950. With the aid of a wide range of specially made 'props' – dolls, various prosthetic limbs, stiletto heels, dildos and an occasional confidante – Pierre Molinier focused upon his own body as the armature for a constructive form that ultimately produced a large body of photographic work. Most of his photographs, photomontages, are self-portraits of himself as a woman. He began a correspondence with André Breton and sent him photographs of his paintings. Later Breton integrated him into the Surrealist group. Breton organized an exhibition of Molinier's paintings in Paris, in January–February 1956. In the 1970s, Molinier's health began to decline. Like his father before him, Pierre Molinier committed suicide at 76 years of age by a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

CHINA HAMILTON
China Hamilton, has established a considerable global reputation as photographer of fine art erotic images of women. His work has often examined the darker side of female sexuality alongside his more traditional erotic pictures. Much of his later work is inspired by sadomasochistic subjects. This particular theme has made this aspect of his work controversial though its reflection upon the power and private expression of women has brought a new sensitivity and respect to this subject. His unique and distinctive style of image has often been the inspiration for the work of other photographers.ttp://www.chinahamilton.com/
